FACE PAINTING

Children's Birthday Party Packages:
Option 1. Fabulous face painting in your home, hall or outdoor venue. We bring all our own equipment including tables and chairs. Bookings even include a personalised gift for the birthday child.
1.5hrs suits parties of 10-15 guests
2hrs suits parties of 16-20 guests
Option 2. Mix it up with fabulous face painting AND crazy balloon twisting (swords and fairy wands) - something for every guest including those too young for face painting.
1.5hrs suits parties of up to 15 guests
2hrs suits parties of up to 20 guests
Option 3. 1.5hrs of sparkling face painting and glitter tattoos. Great for Princess and Fairy themes.

TEMPORARY AIRBRUSH TATTOOS
A great party idea for 18th Birthdays and all adult events - recently we attended a 50th!This is extremely popular with the Teens and Tweens ...and the young at heart - GO WILD and enjoy the fun of temporary airbrush tattoos.

FACE PAINTING FAQs
ARE YOU INSURED?
Rainbow Face Art have full Public and Product Liability Insurance.
DOES THE FACE PAINT WASH OFF EASILY?
Only professional-grade Wolfe Brothers, TAG, Paradise, Diamond FX and Snazaroo face paints are used, which are all FDA approved for use on the face and body and meet with the highest Australian standards. They are water-based, light and easy to apply and wear and are easily removed in the shower or with gentle soap and a damp face cloth.
IS FACE PAINTING SAFE ?
Face Paint contains antibacterial components that kill germs, however Rainbow Face Painting has strict hygiene practices - every child is painted with a fresh sponge, and brushes are disinfected between clients.
Glitters that are used are special face glitters and cosmetic grade shimmer powders.
IS FACE PAINTING FOR EVERYONE?
Face paint is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Children with allergies or sensitive skin may also not be suitable for face-painting, unless a test patch is done first. For hygiene purposes children who are sick or have open wounds can't be painted - in some cases arm art could be offered instead.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN FACE PAINTING?
I have been face painting in the local area since 2005, and have experience face painting for large crowds at fetes and fairs, theatre productions, community events as well as smaller home-based parties - Rainbow Face Painting can cater to just about all design requests!
DO YOU PROVIDE OTHER PARTY ENTERTAINMENT?
Face painting is a one-on-one interaction but it can entertain kids who are fascinated just watching! I can also do balloon twisting (swords, flowers and doggies) and glitter tattoos on request...just not all at the same time!
DO YOU DRESS UP?
Yes, I can come dressed in fairy or princess costume...or can dress up to match a special theme.
HOW MANY FACES CAN YOU PAINT AN HOUR?
In a birthday party setting, doing faces 'on request' I am able to paint at the rate of 12 - 15 faces an hour - with plenty of glitter and sparkles. I find that if there is any remaining time after that the parents like to join in (Mums, Dads and grandparents!) or the kids start to come back for some arm art.
I also have experience with long and busy queues and have a set of fabulous faces for kids that can be painted at a rate of 25 faces per hour including all the favourites. A limited number of designs as cheek/arm art can be offered as well to keep the line moving quickly.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
Children's parties: for one face painter the hiring rate starts from $75 an hour. Please send me the event suburb and details and I'll let you know my availability and give you a firm, no obligation quote.
Corporate Events: a travel/toll/parking fee may be charged depending on length of booking and location. After an initial hourly rate to cover travel, longer or multiple bookings can be negotiated.
A second or thrid amazing painter can always be provided if needed and I am able to put together entertainment packages (Jumping castles/clowns/face painters) to suit your needs.
Community groups or Charities yes, I do a limited number each year at reduced fees - please contact me!
Individual Hire or special Events: Special one-off face or body designs for individuals, fancy dress or theatre performances etc are charged based on the number of shows, people and level of detail and complexity - at your place or in my home - please contact me for a quote...
DO YOU HAVE AN AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS NUMBER?
Yes, and you can be supplied with an official Invoice. You will not be charged GST.
